Got there…… ignored this to start with, but the constant email updates of achievements (without effort), sucked me in…….

Best win of the adventure was that switching my home and contents saved me some money and had a policy that really suited my situation.
One failure of the adventure was using a BP spend on master card promotion for 150 points, that credited to Qantas Shopping not Fuel….. so had to buy 2 packs of 270g twisties at a x10 promotion…… that did not suit my situation (high cholesterol) 😀

I have mixed feelings on that. Whilst it would be nice to be able to retain/attain WP cheaper and make progress faster towards LTG, I’d also like the lounges to be less busy and standards to improve.
Only costs a few hundred dollars a year for a qantas pub membership... I'm only chasing gold for lifetime status and the oneworld access which I don't think would put much extra strain on the lounges.

I'm a bit similar - lifetime gold for the EK lounge access - especially the Cairo lounge for a shower after surviving Cairo T2 check-in and security checks.

603 points with BP Rewards so far despite various 10x bonus purchases not showing up in the BP app or on the BP Rewards website. Will load up on Dare double espresso before Christmas to get over the line.

My Dare purchase got 3 x points not the 10 and then the fuel purchase later got 0

It seems the app is making too many different options and I don't think the BP app can keep up.

I had the same problem, it triggered the x3 for the ice Coffee instead of the x10 which "used" the offer and my fuel purchase later got no bonus points. They did give some gratis points after I complained

Like most people, I'm struggling with my BP purchases. Also waiting for my Qantas Hotels points to credit (can be up to 8 weeks).

One point to note is that the BP shop offers require extra, extra attention to T+C……
Not all BP service stations actually have BP shops, My closest two BP don’t (they have independent shops), so they are excluded.
Only 500ml Dare included. My “BP shop” only had 750ml. So excluded from x10
Shop offers are not valid with BP plus app.

Hotel stay was done last weekend so that will take a few weeks to come through, the Avis car rental for the weekend will be enough to finish the fuel & cars category, and once the points from some Kogan and ebay purchases come through then that should complete the shopping category - many thanks to @Flyingwombat and everyone else for their help with various questions relating to this promotion - its much appreciated.

Like others, I've also had issues with BP recognising the 10 x points from two different transactions. I will fill up once more before the end of the year but as I drive a diesel, I'll only earn around 70-80 points depending if I fill up when the tank is empty.

Fortunately, I don't need the SC as I only need 50 more to retain Platinum by July 31 2026 and I will have 30SC from flights next week, so will easily get another 20 over the remaining seven months before it resets.

1,025 SC are required for lifetime Gold but with Platinum status all but confirmed through until end of July 2027, I don't need to go to any extra effort to tick this off the list.
