Every day you add only adds $1 to the cost. I'm reluctant to have inaccurate travel dates given i may end up needing to claim.
Provided you're only claiming in relation to the period when you're actually travelling, there's no real problem.

(Otherwise multi-trip policies wouldn't be a thing!)

But you only added $16 to a policy you were buying anyway? That’s sub $1 per SC… pretty damn good

This was exactly my logic too - I had to do the same thing and add additional item cover to get over the $100 threshold on a policy for a NZ trip in Dec. I initially balked at the idea of spending $100 on insurance just to get 20SC until I figured I was going to have to buy a policy anyway, and the slightly inflated cost in exchange for the status credits is pretty good deal.

Very odd to still be running this promotion with Binge!
Given that in all cases the bonus points are worth less than the subscription and they are in the middle of a QFF promo which has to be bringing them up extra revenue, it seems Hubbl's marketing team just weren't that keen on profit

So from Dec 1 you don’t get Qantas points?
But will the bonus points come through?
They have said no pints from Dec 1 so I doubt the bonus will come through as it’s only paid when subs are paid which for you would be Dec 2
