4th Oct (which is weird as stay was 1-3 Oct); but I thought the promo included anything from 1-Oct. I wont have any more QF hotels stay before end of Dec so my only chance at this category.

So I've received Card & Banking, Hotels & Travel and Food & Wine. I may get Utilities if Red Energy bill date align. Unlikely to get any others., the rare times I shop with partners the points seem to take 6 months to post.

Well Mrs excel has completed bp thanks to two 500 point bonus offers, so hit the goal easily. Expecting 10 SC for about $20 of fuel we needed to buy anyway. Pretty happy with that.

Meanwhile, I'm grinding my way along for the category. I had a 3x points offer and purchased ultimate using it so got 6x points for one transaction, totalling ~250 or so. Still haven't got the 5x bonus points from the qantas promo earlier in october. A bit worried those might show up under the wrong category tbh.

Agree re possible wrong categorisation - I'm on the grind too. They gave me a 500 point offer just before the SC on ground started... I had the 3x so did ultimate and I'm also waiting for my 5x bonus.

I'll have 629 if all the bonuses come through so I really need a 500 offer soon - come on bp!

No car hire needs for rest of year so bp is my only option

As it happens, I'm also using the Syd airport parking for work a few times before the end of the years and $1 spent is 3 points - so that works out for me if I use the Qantas Valet which is only $10 more expensive than P2 parking.

This also fits for Fuel and Car - which suits me as I drive an EV so no BP for me.

Avis rental is also a viable option for the "Fuel and Car" category given it's 4 points earnt per $ spent in AU. I hit the 1000 point threshold courtesy of a 4-day rental.

Unfortunately my rental car organised by my work is through Hertz - it's a very long term rental (6 months) so I might have received a LOT of points.

None of the categories require you to get the 1,000 points in a single transaction… you just need 1,000 (coughulative) points in the promotional period, which runs to 31-Dec.

BP for me was over 2 fuel transactions, each of which came with 500 bonus points.

Syd airport parking

I had a points declined by Syd Airport Parking the last 2 times I used them. I think because I used a discounted offer? Not exactly impressed, especially since you don't even get the 1x points, let alone the 3x points

When I prebooked on the Syd airport website I noted there was no place to enter my QFF number. Seems like you have to give it to them when you drop the car off. I’ll be testing this next week.
