Earn points on Bank Transfers

As a data point my payment happened 5 days early

- Payment scheduled for the 31st (Tues)
- SMS on the 27th (Fri) at 8pm to advise that payment would be happening that night
- Logged on to ensure adequate balance and payment had already occurred i.e money had left the account.

However the money did not arrive at my Suncorp account on the 30th (Mon) at approx 3pm.

I have no idea why it took the best part of 4 days to get to the other account - blaming Citi as this seemed unsually slow!
This is completely normal. As far as banks are concerned the next day after Friday is a Monday. Weekend days do not count.

My Citi Premier card has been compromised and Citi has closed it, thereby wiping my PayAlls.

I assume I'll have to set these up again myself, once the new card arrives. The Citi website says there's still no fee for doing so through until 31 October this year. However, I recall some changes were made around October/November last year that slightly limited the PayAll benefit.

Will I lose anything by re-establishing my PayAlls at this point?

You are now limited to $20k not the $35k previously.

That’s a lot of points over a year!

Actually, just after my last post, I received the auto-generated emails from Citi reminding me of my upcoming PayAll transactions, complete with the last four digits of the new card number, so it seems they may not be impacted.

Nice one! I've ~30K worth of PayAlls set up all the way to 2030, trying to avoid similar dramas myself. Thanks mate for the data point

My payalls stuck when they gave me a new card (I think that was when the switched to mastercard). You might see the transactions on your statement under the old card number.

If only there were more offers like this out there except for using your own merchant facility which is an obvious no no (especially with Amex)

How did you set it up all the way to 2030? It only allowed me to set it up it for 24 months

Does anyone know if each PayAll category comes with a limit? For example, Rent max 5k per month or sth.
One month my PayAll setup was succesful but then the next month it wasnt. Tried different category but its still saying “you have reached maximum limit allowed for this category”.

hey everyone, can I get a bit of advice on this one

I setup citipay all for a family member a year ago, they have the citi premier card (or whatever it was called back then) from all those years ago with the fee free for like 10+ years ago,

we managed to get $30k per month = 15,000 QFF points if im not mistaken, =180k per year

circumstances have changed and their amex card may need to be cancelled, so they were planning to use it as their daily card,

however , looking at citi website

it says max 200,000 per 12 month period

does this mean that they will be capped at 200k?

really hard to get accurate info out of citi, especially when calling

Don't call them! Fair dinkum.

Trial and error on your own and work it out. The Citi call centres wouldn't know any way.

Even if you got away with it this time, this is the reason I don't use my Premier card for anything even remotely risky. I don't use it online at all, don't use it overseas, don't have its details registered with any billers for direct debit and don't register details with PayPal or any BNPL providers and don't register the card for any mobile wallet payment systems like Apple or GooglePay either.
I still use the card, but only its physical version and only in person at retailers in Australia, literally no where else does it come out. Even then, my preference is to use the Diners card instead of the Visa/MC where at all possible. Do not want the hassle and inconvenience of having to cancel a card and get a reissue. It's not worth inviting Citibank to have an excuse to cancel all the PayAlls set up for the next decade and a half.

How do we set up Payall for the next few years. I thought 2 years was the limit to be set up just before Oct 23. Edit: just reread the above posts!! I get it now. Cheers
