Just got an email to say we can now earn and redeem KF miles seamlessly on Scoot.

From memory, we could redeem KF miles via a Scoot voucher system, but this may make things a bit more attractive.

They haven't mentioned (as far as I've yet read) about status earning.

OK, from the FAQ's, it states this ...

"Q) Can I earn PPS Value and Elite Miles for Scoot operated flights?

A: PPS value and Elite miles will not be awarded for Scoot operated flights. The 25% tier bonus for KrisFlyer Elite and PPS club members is not applicable to Scoot operated flights."

Kick off is for Scoot-operated flights ticketed on and after 26 April 2018.

I have to admit I'm excited about this. It's probably nothing much but something is better than nothing! And Scoot now incorporating the previous regional short haul airlines just widens the network to earn. A good competitor to JQ to Asia where you still earn something with QF.

This is a good move!

At 1pt per 1SGD you won't be racking up points quickly though.

Looks like points earn will be much greater if you can link to an SQ flight.

Earning miles with Scoot

But arguably better than the Jetstar pay to earn situation.

I have made a booking on scoot. I didn't log in with my krisflyer when i made the booking. Now I can't see any option to add my krisflyer details to my booking through the booking manager. I am thinking of furnishing my details during check in.
