It did seem a much more generous promo than usual. Hope they honour the entries that have already been made.

The posted link, https://www.qantaspoints.com/check-your-details, does not seem to be working anymore. When I try to click through it defaults to the home page. Tried on two different browsers. Updating via the normal profile screens does not give the bonus points confirmation message. Wonder if the promo has been killed.

I should have taken screen shots of the confirmation page (x5) in case of any mishaps.

So should of I. I didn't either. I did 5 accounts as well. I do bother to take screenshots normally and especially with any DSC promo (but that's far more important to me).

About an hour or so ago.

Looks like you did it literally minutes before me!

Yep. Same here. Too late it seems.

What's the logic behind Qantas taking up to six weeks to credit their own points to their own members after completing a process on their own website?

It is better not to over promise. If QF updates QFF points in less than 6 weeks, people will be happy. this is generous for those who have done it in time (i, w, and 2 joeys are included!). Can someone send a post when they have got the 2K QFF points pls?

Set low expectations and over-deliver. Without specifically wanting to comment on Qantas, it's actually a theory I highly recommend for success.

I've just updated details for myself and my daughter - no mention of any 2,000 points. Just got a message saying "Your changes have been updated successfully". Has the promotion been killed?

I got in very early. I started by putting in my details and updated my profile. 5 in the immediate family, plus my wifes's mum.

Next family member I just clicked CONFIRM and the noticed a pop up appeared saying that I would gain 2000 points. This DID NOT pop up when I did mine. So the next four I just clicked CONFIRM. Pop up with the confirming 2000 point message appeared this time.

I also did it again on mine and just clicked CONFIRM this second time. Pop up with the confirming 2000 point message appeared this time for myself as well.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I can't see the "check your details" option when I go to that page. I just see your profile and update your pin. Interestingly if for example I want to add a phone number, it asks me for postcode, DOB and mother's maiden name, and I don't think I ever provided that last piece of information on line or when signing up to the QFF program, so of course I don't get recognised ...

Yea looks like it's all done.....

i did take take screenshots so I'll watch out for "within 6 weeks"

Also updated my profile with the 2,000 points offer but didn't take any screenshots. If the points come then its good, if it doesn't c'est la vie.

Looks like I've missed this one!
Yep, same here. I always miss these sorts of things, hah! Just goes to show, it pays to keep one's nose to the ground (or is that in the air?)

576 positive votes on OzBargain and who knows how many members updated their details and got the congratulations message.

It will be interesting to see if the points are credited automatically, and if not, how Qantas deals with the objections.

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has had some points delivered yet??
