Hi, My wife and I have an itenarary booked through Qantas, now on separate booking numbers due to some "Customer Care" help. My e-ticket has been sent to me as a PDF, and each time I've called and asked for hers, they've sent it through as text in the body of an email.
Is this something I should be concerned about? Should I call back again and try to get the PDF version?

No, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

When they manually send it from Amadeus, it comes out in this text format which is different to the PDF version, but should be considered a confirmation. They usually show the 081 ticket number iirc (and you can check this via various methods) but this is a normal (albeit odd looking) output from a manual request.

Has she tried to "resend receipt" from her manage booking page?

I resent the itenerary and receipt from the manage booking page.

The email version has a different e-ticket to the one on the manage booking page, and that one still has the old flights listed.

Should I contact Qantas about this?

Thank you

The e-ticket number (a long number starting with 081) doesn't show on the MMB page. Are you mixing this up with the PNR (series of 6 uppercase letters and numbers)?

I'm a little unclear what happened in your situation since you mention you've split a booking. In that case one person will have the original PNR and one person will have a new one. You may want to look these up individually and both have the correct frequent flyer number attached.

Thank you - resolved.
They have sent the corrected / new PDF now

I just get worried when I call Qantas Help now as twice this year my flights have been lost due to re-ticketing delays.
