Just noticed I couldn't log into my account. Looks like E-Rewards is shutting down many accounts with flimsy excuses. Very annoying as I have quite a few points warehoused.

I haven't received a response yet but here is response taken from FB.

Hi Julie,
thank you for your query. We have reviewed your account and we have identified several discrepancies in your account details and/or survey activity that are in breach of our terms and conditions. We regret to inform you that under such terms, we have had to suspend your account permanently. You will no longer be able to take surveys and claim rewards going forward. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Without casting assertions would suggest that erewards is quite open to "manipulation" so I guess the question here is "did you?".

I wonder if "manipulation" includes using VPN to access surveys when not actually in country where survey originated (such as when travelling).

So far, I have found E-Rewards works well. Reward points have always been credited as advised, and quite promptly. I haven't manipulated it and try not to, as market research properly conducted helps the workings of a society based on free enterprise.

I have just tried to log into my account also to find it has been deactivated, without any valid reason, they had been good to me for collecting points and keep activating my Velocity account as a irregular flyer. As the attached info shows above i don't
hold much hope of being reissued with points now gone.
Terry.

Not had a problem. Points have transferred to my Velocity account within a few days.

I gave up. Seemed like I had a lot of surveys that I started & they then decided I did not fit the parameters

Just received some emails. Two family accounts have been restored with another two still shutdown. My personal account still no word.

Thank you for your e-mail. It seems that your account was accidentally blocked by our security system. We have now corrected this error and you can access your account again through the website.
Please note that we are currently working to reinstate your account points.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

You've got to love the wording around thanks you for your cooperation, as far as I can see they haven't asked nor have you therefore provided this?

Must admit this has acted as a prompt to me to redeem some points!

I have a multiple personality disorder and so different people answer different surveys depending on what they need. I am serving the market research community actively. I always say to telephone surveys that I vote ON or Socialist Left, depending on the day of the week.

Your multiple personalities are only limited by the amount of email addresses you have.

I have received an e-mail today that my e-rewards account has been reactivated.
Terry.:)

After not getting a reply from e-rewards, I contacted them again and got my main account reactivated. I think had about 32k points but now have 24k. I can live with that.

Why do you allow your points to get that high. I always get my points to 6k then exchange for 2k velocity. I don't trust e-rewards enough to bank more than that. I do it for all of my 4 accounts

I mainly kept the points to top up accounts from going inactive. Keeping points from Hilton, IHG and United getting lost. Plus sometimes it was handy having some pooled points depending on what I needed. Now I got most of my points back, I am going to run my account down to zero.

Don't trust them. I transfer them when I reach 4-5K to IHG or similar.

yep - just happened to me - no warning - account closed - rewards stolen - some how they can accept your answers never say there's a problem and then wham - closed. Surely taking long hard worked for rewards is illegal? Have contacted consumer affairs.
