Blow me down with a feather. It seems that the new Terminal 1 Concourse D has finally opened

Endlessly delayed and looking 'ready to open' for months, when I was there a month ago the rumour was that it wasn't likely to open till middle of the year.
Also getting a mention (but not apparently on BA website) is the new BA Galleries Lounge, with a Concorde 'Bar' attached.

Not sure if the desultory food offering is being upgraded but this doesn't look particularly inspiring for OWEs not travelling in F. Hopefully more than the signature bowl of nuts and South African sparkling in the old T1 lounge, but not confident.
