Flying PER-BKK-FRA-LHR

Planning to buy liquor in BKK and bring it to LHR

Will there be any difficulties bringing it on-board from FRA-LHR?

Thanks

Yes, if it is larger than 100ml and you carry it on to the plane you will surrender it on the next international flight.

If you put it in your checked luggage it will be acceptable but that has its own risks.

Recently travelled MEL SIN MUC GVA . Picked up some malt in SIN and had no issues getting it to GVA. Switched from SQ to LH .I remember Lufthansa only allowed the duty free to be carried as it came from SIN. They had other allowed airports. I guess it is airline specific. I would check the carry on regulations for you carrier

Yep. Sure does. I now have a bag that smells like Cointreau.

I guess it is airline specific.

It's EU law specific: Liquids, aerosols and gels - Transport

duty-free liquids purchased at certain airports in Croatia, Malaysia, Singapore or at international airports in Canada or the U.S on condition that they are packed in a STEB inside which satisfactory proof of purchase at airside at that airport within the preceding 36 hours is displayed.
are exempt and allowed as hand luggage within the EU.
