Dear all
Can I get some opinions/advice please?
Im booking a Business Class flight in May with Qantas.
On my return leg from europe via Dubai to Melbourne: I have a choice between A380 QF10 or Codeshare Emirates 777-300ER QF8408.
Status Credits are the same.

I never traveled on this Emirates plane before, and very use to the A380.
I thought trying Emirates 777 would be interesting but its not the Emirates A380, and I understand the seat bed is not lie flat.
The Qantas A380 has advantages of ability to upgrade to first and ?lower cabin pressure / ?quieter.

Am I missing out not trying the Emirates plane?

Many thanks
M

If you're happy with the QF A380 I would stick with that, but that's my personal preference.

The Emirates 777 has a clearly inferior business class product to the Qantas A380. The Emirates aircraft will have a 2-3-2 configuration with angle-flat seats. Qantas is 2-2-2 with lie-flat seats. I'd stick with QF10.

(If the Emirates flight was on an A380 that would change things somewhat.)

EK soft product >> QF soft product.

That's enough for me given I can sleep comfortably on both QF Skybeds and EK 777 business seats.

Qantas all the way. The EK F 777 is almost the same as EK 380 (but no shower) and I prefer it to Q F so rather nice but EK J in 777 is not as good as either metal in 380. It's all we get in Adelaide though.

+1 For Qantas. Done both in J a few times recently, and QF380 is far superior than Emirates 777 J. I'd fly EK on the A380 anytime though over QF for any class of travel.

Great advice, thank you for all the replies.
QF it is for this time.
Booked tickets.
Thank you
