Hi everyone,

My brother and I are booked on an EK F award AMS-DXB-BNE with a 10+ hour overnight transit in Dubai (00:15-10:15) and it seems that we are eligible for Dubai Connect.
When trying to book this on the QF MMB page, it asks for "room allocation" what does this mean ?

If I book myself as "1" and my brother as "2" does that mean we each get our own rooms ?

What sort of hotels do they usually give you ?

Thanks

Hi Nizar,
Not sure about the rooms. When ever I transit through Dubai on EK in F I always use the quiet lounges in First, which have 10 or so day beds in dark rooms. When using EK, I have always had more luck using the EK site booking reference, rather than the QF site reference. You might want to check your Dubai Connect with Emirates...see..Dubai Connect | Essential Information | Emirates Australia

The EK F/J hotel is Le Méridien. It's really quite nice, short drive from the airport. You will get vouchers which can be used at multiple outlets in the complex for meals.

I'm not sure about the room allocation but I assume that as there's two you will get a room each
