Dear brains trust
I'm a little confused and was hoping if others have had experience with this.
I have IST-DXB-SYD booked with QF numbers through QF.
- initially the connection at DXB was 90mins, but Emirates has cancelled EK414 and instead rebooked to EK412 which results in a layover of 8.5 hours.

Looking at the terms and conditions - it would appear that Qantas-marketed, Emirates operated flights qualify for Dubai Connect.
Having had a web-chat with Emirates - they have insisted that the ticket needs to be issued by Emirates i.e., 176 prefix, rather than 081).
I wouldn't have thought it was possible to have a Qantas-marketed Emirates flight on Emirates issued ticket.

What have your experience been - and what's the next best course of action?
Thanks for the advice.
