Heaven forbid if future airports are ever designed with passengers in mind! :rolleyes: After all they just get in the way of the real purpose of airports....

Mr Woodruff said the master plan would be ready for public comment by early next year, before being submitted to federal Transport and Infrastructure Minister Anthony Albanese.
It would include provision for a rail link, which is subject to a study after the Baillieu Government controversially made a monorail link to Avalon Airport a priority over trains servicing Melbourne Airport.

They'd fix the departures level quite easily if the made the crossovers one level higher so there was no zebra crossing...
 
They'll need to put some serious moving walkways in if they plan to put it all the way back there - that's a longer walk than even the undercover long term parking!

Which begs the question why bother with disabled parking ?
The whole point ( I thought) was to improve access for the mobility challenged?
