Downgrade of PC status after Velocity complimentary upgrade

I received that message also. Logged on and confirmed that the status was back in place.
In fact, I had not discovered that it had lapsed!

My gold status reinstated today. Combination of mix up and system malfunction I'm told.

I received a Gold card from Priority Club today and the letter said:

Although you didn't meet the requirements to maintain your Platinum Elite status, I have taken the liberty of maintaining your membership at the Gold level until 31 December 2012.

I never did get a Priority Club Platinum card after the Virgin Australia status match...

My account online still says platinum though. I wonder if this card was generated prior to Priority Club and Virgin sorting out the status match and sticking to giving us twelve months' free platinum.

Looks like Priority Club have repeated their stuff-up from last year.

Was given complimentary Platinum Status on Augst 31, 2012 and when I check my membership noe it's gone back to Gold.

Someone posted a copy of the email that they got from PC when this happened last year:

I have called PC andd they said they'd look into it ad call me back....Not sure if I want to hold my breath!

Yep after 4 months I have been sent back to Club. Can anyone advise of the contact number they have called to sort this out? Thanks

On the back of the PC card you'll see the number to call. For Australia its 1800 121 766.

After having rung the PC yesterday, I checked this morning and my Platinum status has been re-instated.
