Double Status Credits

I just received an email from QANTAS telling me my status credits will be double from now until the 31 july.

Has anyone received it too ?

Yes it will help me to retain Platinum and i already reached 1065 so it will be easy because i only travel on long haul flight.

Damn. I didn't and I was counting on one. Got one last year when I was already on 1300.

Held off heaps of flexi Y and JASAs on the hope of getting your email.

Considering directing more VA credits to the better half now to ensure VA PLAT for him.

Yes, but I would have anyway. This just means my two trips in the next two weeks will get me 340 SCs which coincidentally is exactly the number I need for WP requalification! However I would have still got that by end August anyway when my year runs out.

Congrats Chris, now Qantas where is my double status credit offer, I need to go to Perth and back a few times over the next 3 months, you would rather I book with Qantas than with the opposition, those few remaining Virgin Australia upgrades could be used instead if you don't want my business.

I received my double status credit email this afternoon. My rollover date is 31st July, will just miss out on retaining WP.

I have tried a flight in J between HKG and BKK on Cathay and i have received 120SC on my QFF for approx 600AUD (booked on the Cathay Pacific HK website). I was really surprised about that. A really good deal

Just got my double status credit offer today for the first time. Only 80 points away to re qualify for Gold with a review date of 31 July. Offer dates from 1st May to 31st July. I already have 3 flights MEL-ADL booked for this week which are during the offer date but booked beforehand. Are these still eligible?

No. Only new booking made and for travel in your 1st May - 31st July window.

In my experience double status credit offers arrive 3 months before expiry date. I expect to receive one in 1 month from now, but I will retain WP (just) without it if my sums are correct.
