I think you didn't, then you did, but seems not a strict thing now.
I don’t recall if it was a requirement when I signed up in 2019 (but my company was/is registered for GST).
 
This all to thwart VA, who are actively selecting their bigger business flyers to become Plat (and above).

I don't see VA winning this argument, and neither should they.
 
Do you think DSC will work for classic rewards if you are a points club plus member? You are able to book classic rewards through the business portal so I'm thinking they should qualify.

I’ve not actually tried booking a CR via the portal directly (until now didn’t really see the point), so don’t know if the ABN sticks but as mentioned above, there doesn’t appear to be a way to add an ABN to an existing CR only PNR nor during the booking process - unless there’s a paid segment on the booking.
