Another week, another milestone :)

After qualifying QF WP-PG last week, I just requalified VA SG.

Still have 3 months left in my membership year......

Fly QF..??..?? Or get my VA WP back..??..??

Decisions decisions.....

Not too sure how it all stacks up in CNS but I'm in a similar situation to you , QF WP-PG and VA WP. Whilst I do all of my international travel on QF/OW, domestically ex-NTL it's a choice between VA and JQ and that's no contest at all :D
Will continue to credit to both QF and VA as long as I can.

Hey All,

I normally always click the Double Status Credit Link to register even if I dont have any plans to fly, however I didnt this time as I live overseas.
Looks like I may be coming home for a quick unexpected trip.
Is there a way to get the email sent out again so that a) can check the dates it is good for, and b) click the link lol!

Any help be great,

Cheers

Well I already have another 160 SCs worth of discount Y travel booked on QF, but without a DSC there's no way I'll make P1.

So the alternate incentive seems to be to direct my next 3 months of flying to VA and try to regain VA WP.

Thanks Princess. Just tried that and changed a few months so looks like the one I qualified for must have expired now I guess. Thanks for the help!!

As an original FF member (Apr 91) and with getting 600 last year, and with 600 by anniversary end of August this year, you think loyalty years would count for an offer to get me to SG, but alas my email is empty:(

Well how much do I love this site. Thanks experienced flyers ...esp Markis10 :) . After learning about all sorts of methods re upgrades and JASA, the above post doesn't stand as after I take my JASA CBR-KTA flight next month and with my sale fare KTA-HKT along with my normal return flights KTA-PER, I more than qualify for gold before my expiry date of August. Gold for the first time! Hey Red Roo, my comments about years of loyalty and 600 points for 2 years stand. Looking forward to a DSC offer next year and maybe even making WP:)

Well the missing DSC's from late May arrived yesterday, pretty sure it was thanks to Red Roo's efforts. DSC's from Saturday's flying PER-TSV arrived today. Hoping Sunday's return journey DSCs post tomorrow and it's 50k bonus points for me! :D

Does anybody know if DSC promotions get extended? Mine runs out at the end of June, yet my membership year runs until the end of July and I have four flights in July that would benefit from the DSC.

Maybe RedRoo will clarify. But I doubt so because it specify you need to book Flexi-Saver, Fully Flexiable for Y and JASA didn't book into any of those classes.

As per T&C
To take advantage of this limited time offer, simply register and make a new eligible[SUP]†[/SUP] Qantas Australian domestic or trans-Tasman Flexi-Saver, Fully Flexible or Business booking from 21 June to 30 June 2013 for travel on or before 31 August 2013, and be treated to more.

† Flexi Saver fares are only available on Australian domestic flights booked in fare classes VKLHM. Fully Flexible fare classes include BY, Business Saver includes fare class I and Business fare classes include DCJ

Good pick up.

Glad I didn't book anything.

I just made a few JASA bookings. I hope it's ok...

On the page that appears after you click the link (Frequent Flyer - Member Specials), it does say this in the Terms and Conditions:
* The offer is valid when you register, make a new Australian domestic or trans-Tasman booking between 12.01am (AEST) 21 June 2013 and 11.59pm (AEST) 30 June 2013 for travel on or before 11.59pm (AEST) 31 August 2013. You must register for this offer by by 11.59pm (AEST) 30 June 2013 to be eligible for this offer. Eligible flights are all flights with a QF flight number on your ticket booked in Flexi Saver fares or above (for Australian domestic flights) or Fully Flexible fares or above (for trans-Tasman flights, as Flexi Saver fares are only available on Australian domestic flights). Qantas may extend this offer. This offer applies to travel taken by the recipient targeted for this offer only (regardless of other passengers in the same booking), and is not transferable. Travel is subject to availability and any applicable fare conditions. Flights can be booked via qantas.com, a travel agent or Qantas Direct. Fees may apply. Your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number must be recorded at the time of registration and booking. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other bonus offer by Qantas. Only one bonus offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary. If you qualify for multiple bonus offers, the offer first-registered for will be applied to each individual qualifying segment. If you change or cancel your initial qualifying booking and travel is completed outside the promotional period, this bonus offer will not apply. Bonus offer may take up to 6 weeks after completion of your travel to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. Points and Status credits may not be earned on some fare types and booking classes including Classic Award flights and Qantas codeshare flights operated by Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Valuair and Jetstar Japan other than in Economy booking classes Y, B, H, K, and L (when booked as part of a oneworld® fare). Qantas Segments booked in X, U, Z or P classes are eligible to earn points and Status credits only when booked as part of a Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Award. For details, visit qantas.com

And it does say ALL FLIGHTS with a QF Flight Number in Flexi Saver fares or above...and then mentions U is eligible to earn SCs as part of a ASA...
