Double Status Credits 2013

I flew on 5 & 6 April SYD-DBO-SYD and both sets of DSC posted today.
Maybe they are doing it in batches? I would have thought they would post one day after another as thats how I took the flights but happy to have them in my account.

Past years have seen the mass double SC campaign post as a regular sweep every couple of days, I think one year it was on Tuesdays!

Hey guys I've got some flights booked for the next few months which qualify for the DSC. at the end of may i will be 5 SC AWAY from SG. Do you think I could get a bump up to SG? I don't have much travel planned until later in the year and wanted to pause my QP MEMBERSHIP!

Reports here are that QF usually don't bump people up to the next level if it's their first time qualifying, however if you've been gold or plat a few years running they may do it for you.

Being only 5 SC away with lounge access and other perks, it would be a shame to miss out on SG for much less than the cost of a year's QP membership and I would try to find those 5 SCs by an extra trip or rerouting an existing one.

I flew to OOL from SYD return middle of Feb, they have just posted !

My OOL DSC points just posted, 4 days short of the 6 weeks!

Five weeks of checking my account almost daily, a bit sad...

Just be patient, they will most likely appear sooner than that. And they will be awarded to the membership year when the flight was taken, so even if you are close to the end of your membership year you don't have to worry about missing out on getting to SG

True..my anniversary isn't til jan next year so I will get SG at some point..just trying to save some months on my QP!

Just got my DSC posted from my SC run done on the 19th! Speedy I also get the loyalty bonus. BAM.

I did a JASA run on Tuesday 23 April, had all the bonus status credits credited today just 3 days later! Also got the loyalty bonus, BOOM!

However, I did a JASA CBR-MEL flight on Wednesday 24 April at night, and those bonus status credits weren't credited today.... should I be concerned?

No, give it until Monday noting there was a public holiday yesterday.

Quick question: I requalified for Silver with my recent DSC run, but I haven't got an email from Qantas saying congrats that I've reached Silver again. Do they wait until the member year is over to send out the new pack? (mine ends July 2013). I just assumed I would get some sort of email. It's been a week now.

You don't get any email, just a new pack in the mail, although the monthly statements will show the updated status before you get the physical card in a lot of cases.

The emails I get from Qantas tend to not be very up to date, I got the new card registration email yesterday which showed points balance from two weeks ago. I'm surprised if people still get paper statements, I've been paper free for as long as it was an option. Such a waste of paper! But I digress. Thanks for the answer

We flew from SIN-SYD-MEL overnight of the 22nd-23rd and SWMBO's double SCs posted today so I would wait a couple of days.

She is happy now as she has re-qualified back to Platinum.

Next week Qantas can I have a Double SC offer then I will go and spend some money.
