Re: Qantas to upgrade business class sleep experience

we no longer see any point in what you're saying.

Whilst I think the attempt to support the "double standards" argument, by claiming to be female, was ill judged I can appreciate some of the points Feper has presented in the lounge access rules thread.

Not sure who the "we" is in your post?

Re: Qantas to upgrade business class sleep experience

I actually thought Feper used the "as a woman" line as a joke, based around the topical discussion of the Prime Minister's speech. Could be wrong, but that's how I read it. Humour is almost impossible to nail on a forum. Particularly when your online persona is a little, how to put this, 'prickly' or direct.

Anyway, Feper (and all of us really) should realise that HOW we put a point of view across is often just as important as the view itself, particularly if you're keen for your argument to be taken seriously. It's just human nature.

I find this forum generally very accepting and polite. But I've hung out at some pretty feral forums in the past, so I may not be the best barometer of these things.

So we have a faceless and dual sex person whinging about double standards.

If this isn't bordering on sexual harassment, then I don't know what is.

But I guess this proves my point about one set of rules for one

Just when I thought that all common sense had gone out the window, the last 2 posts have restored some hope

From the website that you quoted:

"intrusive questions or statements about your private life"

This is the problem.

You've picked out one line with no context. You haven't answered the question.

There was no question asked of you. Just a summary of information that you volunteered.
