Double Qantas Points on NAB/AMEX

I just received my replacement QF platinum Visa plus NAB/AMEX card; included is an offer for double points on "everyday purchases" (T&C excludes gambling/gaming purchases) using the NAB/AMEX card, capped at 50,000 points. In addition you could get 10,000 points by registering online. Register by 16 May, points paid by 31 July 2015.

Offer open to first 1500 applicants.
Thanks, I have that card. Looks kosher to me too. I logged in using the nab web address and it brings up the green secure website address.
Won't know till July so who knows. Would be interesting to see if any one gets mailed an acknowledgement etc

Only seems to mention Qantas points but eligible for Velocity card holders. No reason for NAB to have my QFF number so hoping it's double VFF points too.

The website is nab.com.au so would seem legit

Oops. Missed post #9 which seems to clarify

It just says it's a chance to get 10k bonus points? Nothing about double points?

Still not sure what the "chance to earn 10,000 bonus points" actually means, it seems to lack context.

Many thanks for the initial post!!!

register on line, interesting if it worked for those that did not get the offer ( me) with the ATO ??? Does anyone want to take a chance on this one at 1.42 % ??

Just go to http://nab.com.au/velocitypremiumamex for the velocity version.

It's a legit site given that it redirects to ols.nab.com.au which is NAB's secure site used for signing up for credit cards.

This may be a mail only promotion hence why it's not posted on their website.

As to whether it will work for those not receiving the mail out, we will have to wait and see.

Do we quote Dirty Harry/Clint Eastwood..........."do you feel lucky ??"

Maybe when I have 1,900+ posts under my belt, people will believe me :) ...........

Thanks, it's not that I don't believe you, it's just that the NAB link doesn't mention anything about double points. Only 10,000 bonus. It doesn't explicitly say what to do to get the 10k and if it is guaranteed or not... (for the first 1500 people)

Was trying to find more info about offer - as it is pretty vague on details - and came across similar one for non-premium NAB cards. Offers just 5000 bonus points instead of 10,000, but also double points on spend . Still not sure what is meant by 'a chance to earn 5000 bonus points'. For all of first 1500 to sign-up, some, or just one? Who knows?Anyway, here is the link - as before, just swap 'velocity' for 'qantas' in email address depending on your card.index

Thanks, it's not that I don't believe you......

I put the smiley in to indicate I was taking it all in good humour (I do understand that a newbie has to be treated with some healthy scepticism).

I agree it is very vague as to who will get the 10,000 bonus points but the double points are nevertheless useful. I don't know if NAB tracks who's been offered the double + the-maybe-10k-points so YMMV when it comes to receiving the extra points.

Whilst I'm too late to the scene for more than one ATO payment (I weep when I think how many extra points I could have accrued over the past few years), my main supplier now accepts Amex cards (they take money from card on 6th month instead of waiting for me to pay on 25th month), so there's a stream of points that will start flowing through next month. With double points for both April and May.

Thanks bullerdude. Though my attempt to paste the link wasn't entirely successful. Googling 'NAB 5000 bonus points' also brings it up as first item.

Just wondering if anyone got confirmation that they had successfully signed up to this promo. I got nothing but am hopefully awaiting my statement next week.

Got statement today - no bonus points. I know they said the promo page said it could be credited up to June 30 (or was it July?) but still a little worrying. May have to follow up with NAB.
