Ok got Medhead thank you .... I suppose the fiasco of which ℅ share flights with QF flight number count is the next problem which you yourself have said is not clea

The language on the "selected qantas codeshares" is poor. But if you only count on the 4 listed AA flights, then you can't be disappointed. Anything else is a bonus.

Until reading this thread today I had no idea that the cabin bonus had mysteriously disappeared ... Simpler Fairer.

The cabin "bonus" now comes built-in to the base rate.

And on the earlier point on each segment, it means that each segment can only have one bonus offer - e.g. if you sign up to this offer now, and then later, another offer turns up and you register as well, you only get the bonus of the first offer.

The Cabin Bonus is not relevant to this promotion in my view. The T&C are specific that the bonus relates to the base rate for your flight segment. Cabin and Status bonuses are on top (as is the promotion bonus points)

that's how I read it anyway

Dammit, I made several bookings over the weekend. :(

I had done the same thing. According to a FB message from Qantas, you will still get the double points:

"Hi Andy, as long as both the booking and registration were done within the promotion period that will be fine. Keep in mind that the standard Qantas Points will track onto your account as per normal and the bonus points will take a further 6-8 weeks from when the flight was taken. Thanks, Bethan"

Sheeeeet!
I made a paid F booking SYD-DFW-SYD just days before I knew of this.

as it after 29th March? As per my post above, as long as it is within the promotion period and you register at some point you'll be fine. I specifically asked Qantas if it mattered that I registered after booking.

I have finally taken the first leg of a flight booked during this promo...anyone know how long it takes for the double points to post?

Mine have all posted within about 48 hours. Others have reported that the double SCs always post on Tuesdays.
