The weather is fine in the western United States right now. Here is your excuse to come on over and visit us.

Qantas Airways offers double points for flying Alaska Airlines on eligible fares during June and July 2006. Read the definition of "eligible" in the offer. Registration is not required. Of course, you must provide your Qantas account number to Alaska Airlines. Read the terms and conditions.

Also, if you are collecting Alaska Airlines miles, Alaska Airlines offers double miles for flying Qantas Airways between June 1, 2006 and July 31, 2006. Registration is not required. Of course, you must provide your Alaska Airlines account number to Qantas. Read the terms and conditions.

Double points but I don't think you can earn SC's which is more important for most QF FF'ers.

I see you are still persisting with that one.

Most QF FF's couldn't care less about SC's. Most people on here worry about SC's, but for most members of the QF FF program, they care about the points.

I agree. That's because most frequent flyers have no SC because they get all their points from credit cards!!

I agree with you and also don't think that he would be in a position to have knowledge of what most QF members want anyway. Most are unlikely to care about status, since I would suggest, it is a minority of members who attain Silver or higher status

Permit me to persist on more time then.

Double points! Wow!! Can you also earn status credits?

I don't know anything about frequent flyer programs but just a wild guess I think that most people who frequent this site and read this thread would care more about SC's than double FF points. I am terribly sorry if I have offended anyone with my wild guess.

That's a bit personal and somewhat inflamatory, Dave.
