Hi all, seeing as there is a trip coming up next year i thought i would ask the approx price of a garden variety DONE4 that isnt too fancy, it will be with MrsGurio and GrommetGurio so anyhting adventurous is out of the question...

Also, there isnt a place online where we can price it is there and play around with schedules etc.?

The main dependancy will be where you start from

If you start from Australia it is 10.5k approx plus taxes. The only variant ( if you book through AA) is taxes.

AA will charge 2 fuel fines ( one for transatlantic and one for transpacific)

After that there are just normal taxes. The main thing to watch out for is that if you have a stopover in London before a non-european departure, there is a departure tax of GBP80. Just keep the UK stopovers down and taxes will be not too much and the routing wont make huge differences to the price

If you book through QF then , of course, there is the fuel fine frenzy on most flights other than US domestic, so less flights => lower taxes

For schedules, I would go and download the oneworld timetable ( http://www.trvlink.com/download/oneworld/oneworlddesktop.exe ) and play

Prices are on the Oneworld site Click thru the links. (eg oneworld Explorer) Fare estimates are near the bottom of the page. However price changes are slow being updated on this site
