Hi there, new to forum...travelling back from Hawaii Star Class 30kg baggage allowance...problem is...then doing domestic leg Syd/Bris..economy...will they charge excess baggage on over 20ks??
Can someone advise...I tried getting a contact email address on jet star to pose this problem...very hard to find contact email for such queries.
Cheers Jules:)

Welcome to AFF.

Are your two JQ flights on the one ticket?

When booked as a single booking the Star Class baggage allowance should apply for the whole itinerary. If however, the flight segments were booked separately the baggage allowance for the class booked for each sector would apply.

This used to be documented on-line, however it seems to have disappeared.

I have the same question, and the same apprehension booking the JQ domestic leg attached to a *Class booking. They used to book you in QF J.

Hi cerfty, really appreciate your quick response.
Yes all on the one flight itinerary...which I booked online.
I booked both segments at the one time.
One more question...going from International to domestic terminal for flight back to Brisbane (Jet Star)...once you clear customs is there now a facility where you can book luggage on to Brisbane...looking on Trip Advisor most posts said you have to take luggage on public bus to domestic terminal!!!!!!
Thanks again:p
