Hi All,

Just took advantage of the domestic J 2for1 sale to upgrade a red-e deal to J. However, MMB won't allow me to select seats - only state preference. I've received the updated e-ticket (so the booking has been ticketed); EF is showing only 3/12 seats allocated (8 "blocked") ... don't want Mrs BD at the opposite end of the cabin to me ... worth a call?

Regards,

BD

Definitely.

They probably could give you seats together in the back row and then at T-80 you could look for something better (if still available).

I doubt it will be the back row... I am guessing at a 737, and that the 3/12 seats allocated are 3 out of the 4 Row 3 - the only ones available to SG for early allocation. With only 1 seat "left" and 2 pax in the PNR, the system reverts to the "preference" mode.

A call up should (hopefully) allow 2 seats together in Row 1 or 2 to be allocated..

Thanks all. Now sorted after waiting for the automated call back system.

It was precisely as equus described and we are now seated together in Row 2.

Regards,

BD
