Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I will be travelling MEL-SYD (J) -NRT (Y).
Does this mean that I can use the QC in Sydney during my transit from SYD-NRT?
The QC rules state that you can only use the QC before your flight.
Thanks.

Welcome to AFF F2F :)

Do you have any status with QF or are you a Qantas Club member? if not I think you will be out of luck during your transit :(

hi simon,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I am only a lowly NB.

I guess there is probably no way I can circumvent that besides also upgrading my Y flight to J.

If you have the points for the upgrade then I owuld definitely upgrade - not for the lounge but for the comfort onboard :)

The downside is that as a NB you will be way down the queue for upgrades so I would put in that request ASAP and hope you are on an empty flight with not many gold or platinum ahead of you.

if you have the cash - call 131 131 NOW!

:)

Hi freedom2fly, welcome to AFF. :D

You will be able to use the QP in MEL as a J class passenger, but not in SYD.
