Domestic Business Class Cancellation after checking in.

Quick question about QF Domestic business class fares. If i check in online and arrive at the airport to fly, is it still possible to cancel the airfare and get a refund if i need to make very last minute changes?

Will the QF staff make a big fuss about it and say it can't be done?

I have unchecked in, the changed flights on flexible economies before.
