Was looking up some poll data for the election and came across this:

[Roy Morgan Research] Roy Morgan Press Releases

Regional Express (REX) has rated highest in terms of domestic airline customer satisfaction, followed closely by Qantas, according to the latest Roy Morgan Research Airline Satisfaction data.

Well done to Rex, but also good that QF has a very good rating too. Not surprising to see Tiger down there with only 51% and Jetstar on 67% I also thought SkyWest would have done better too, although only a few people I know have flown them.

Quick question...

Has anyone on this forum ever been approached to participate in a survey like this? How do they pick people for this, or do you have to sign up for it? (I sure that if people from AFF participated in these surveys/ratings, QF would score higher :))

Many years ago I got polled for an election.Never asked again.Maybe they found out I lied.:lol: See you cant trust polls;)

Polls are becoming more and more inaccurate because the method of polling is usually done by ringing a fixed line number, less houses have one these days including mine. So a good percentage of the population are not having their views represented which affects the results. A frequent gen Y traveller without a landline is unlikely to express the same views as the granny who flies to the country one a year for her CWA meeting, gross generalizations but you get the point!

I just got a survey on Friday from Qantas. It was pretty in depth.

We value your feedback.

Hello Shaun

Qantas has commissioned Forethought Research to undertake a confidential survey of members to obtain feedback about your domestic business travel. You have been randomly selected to participate in this research and we would like you to complete the online survey by Friday 13th August.

The questionnaire will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Please be assured your individual answers will be treated as strictly confidential, and will be aggregated together with thousands of other survey responses to form an overall picture of travel behaviour and attitudes in the domestic travel market.

To begin the survey, click on the link below.

If you have any queries in regards to this survey, you may contact [email protected] or if you are experiencing any technical problems, please contact Forethought Research at [email protected].
