Dom Upgrade Request - 2 pax on same PNR, booking made by Bronze, upgrade req by Platinum

Not sure of the scenario here ... travelling on a single Classic Rewards booking made by the bronze passenger - I am platinum, but would like to press 'Upgrade to Business' - the query is ... if it is successful, will we both be upgraded? Obviously I don't want just the one of us to be upgraded.

Does it make any difference if it comes from the wp account using the upgrade a friend or family member feature?
 
If it's one booking with a bronze and a platinum, the upgrade request, as long as it's requested by the platinum, will be processed at platinum priority. The source of the points for the redemption is irrelevant.

Who‘s account will the points come out from? Just mine, being the requester? Or both?
