Bit of a weird one - I've always thought it would be interesting/fun to take a domestic flight to a port and then return on the same aircraft. This is easier to plan in advance with the non-737 aircraft as they're less common.

I've been looking at SYD-MEL which does a 1830- 2005 on an A321N. There's then a 2100 departure from MEL-SYD that's an A321N, so I would imagine it's the same plane.

Trouble is it's below MCT so it can't be booked on one PNR.

Is this a bit risky to consider? One would imagine a delay then delay the next flight anyway, but a cancellation might put things out.

Or just pick a port where the aircraft flies back shortly after which is basically anywhere in QLD other than BNE and the last flight of the day.
