On my flight to MEL this morning, QF411, we did a go-around. The captain announced not long after that all was well and the reason for the go-around was because there had been a dog on the runway. I assume that doesn’t happen too often and it gave everyone a chuckle and a story for the day, and me a chance to finish my movie.
