Does JQ issue ticket numbers like QF with 081?

Hi I have not booked directly with JQ for over 10 years. I have flown JQ in past years but booked it thru QF as a reward ticket and the ticket issued by QF had a ticket number etc. Last week I booked directly on JQ website and received a PNR and confirmation email but no ticket number and I assume its ticketed. Is it correct that when JQ issue the itinerary a few hours after booking with the PNR and barcode it means the booking is ticketed but will not show the ticket number? Thanks

There is no ticket number. The booking is through Jeststar who use Navitaire and they do not directly use traditional reservation processes.

Unless they, due to eg disruption, move you to another airline.

Then you get a ticket.

Use the 'Manage Booking' feature and it will show your booking details.
