Does anyone credit AC without worrying about status?

I've had a look at Aeroplan and it seems like a great program with some good opportunities. Better than most.

Does anyone here credit Aeroplan without worrying about status? Given that you need 6K SQD to get 50K and it can only be obtained on AC it might make it difficult if you don't go to places where AC flies to.

Not only don't I worry about status on AC, I don't credit miles to them either . I buy a Air Canada Miles when there are very good bonuses involved.

It is a terrific frequent-flier program with star alliance, and also big range of partner airlines.

That's fair but sometimes some of us aren't as flexible so cash fares will have to do!
