Do you earn status on Qantas operated, partner marketed flights?

I’m flying on an AA marketed flight to America and back, but turns out the planes are actually Qantas metal. On the Qantas app it says AA7376 (QF21).

Will I get status credits for these if I give my FF number (already have)? Or is it only Qantas marketed flights. The Qantas site is not specific about this from what I can see

Am a points club plus member too if it helps. Would’ve booked direct with Qantas but the AA flights were 40% cheaper

You will, but at the AA earn rate, not QF rate for earn. As in the rate QF applies for an AA flight because it is an AA flight number.

The points calculator inhelpfully does not include AA for MEL-DFW, but I believe the partner earn table applies:

Edit: Actually these look the same as QF earn lol. I guess now the JV is back its ok

so yes. You will earn.

Points club is irrelevant in this case.

Just a note additionally that this flight won't count as QF in terms of 4 required for status, or for loyalty bonus etc since it is classed as an AA flight.
