Hi Guys,

Have a airfare i want to book coming up and need to pay cash or cheque for as am swapping credit cards. Curious if Jetset travel or other agents have access to The Exclusivee Business fare or if its just a online only fare? Also do they accept cash or cheque?

Thanks guys

Do you mean physical cash only? You can pay QANTAS fares by Bpay so would imagine you could also pay the Bpay amount through a post office if not through your bank account?

What do you mean by 'exclusive' fares? If by corporate negotiated fares, then it's possible that it's locked into one specific travel agency. If you have the fare basis, you could try another agent, but if you're needing to pay cash you either have to go to the airport or see a travel agent (you're not going to be able to use corporate negotiated fares at the airport sales desk though).

"Exclusive Business" was the name for the recent deep discounted I class fares. These were effectively 2 4 1 and required a companion booked on the same itinerary.

Yes, it has been showing up in most of the options I've been considering for several flights to Europe over the coming months. Before you book it, check the change and cancellation provisions.

Got any dates? I just threw in some from MEL to LHR and that fare basis isn't coming up for any of the dates I have selected (of course a fare basis does not necessarily constitute a currently published fare, it may be on the website but not for sale at the time).

The biller needs to support Post Bill Pay to do this I believe (as the BPAY option on QF will not present the purchaser a bar code, which Aus Post would need to scan).

If you have the cash and not the card, BPAY shouldn't be an issue (keeping in mind, that the fare basis mentioned here also mentions a booking fee if done through a 'QF travel outlet' but possibly not via any other TA).
