Just wondering if anyone knows if infants earn ff points when flying?

We're planning a RTW trip for Aug next year and we will have a bew addition to the family.

Only if you book them a seat.

If they are on your lap and you only pay the taxes then no points or status credits.

Tip for traveling with infants on EK metal. I travelled to the UK via DXB on EK metal with a QF flight number, with Mrs Lambchop, Master Lambchop and Infant Lambchop who was attached to my booking (I'm SG, rest of the family has no status). When the check in agent printed the boarding passes, the J lounge invite printed on my boarding pass was duplicated on my daughter's. Hence we rocked up at the EK J lounge with two printed invites and two guests and were waved in. Not sure whether that is a genuine loophole in the system that wasn't picked up, or if the lounge angel simply took pity on us, but a good outcome either way.

If you pay the infant fare, eg. lap fare, then no points are given.
If under 2 but purchase a seat, such as using a child fare, then points and SC are given.
This from 3 years experience travelling with Little Miss Blackcloud.
