Would like some opinions from all the "experts" weather myself and my other half should go to the opposition, we are both QFGold but we get most of our points Per-Sing and say two trips a year interstate, now that QF has pulled the pin on Singers we are in a dilemma of what to do,would it be easier to get gold with V,? Or do we stick with QF, thought about ringing up V to see if they would status match, this tear we have a Sydney-LAX return in J , and Per-Sing-coughet in Y, but that will be cancelled as it is in July. Really look forward to your comments.

PER based here as well (with quite a few PER-SIN vv annually). Wouldn't mind jumping ship if VA/SQ offered a status match tbh .. (mainly VA though, LH have me covered on *A)

If you're going to be doing PER-SIN more, look at Aegean or Turkish airlines, do a QF status match, get Star Gold, and switch to SQ. Not sure how that would work for your points strategy as SQ miles expire in a fixed time period, but it's a thought.

Failing that, i'd be jumping. VA trans con IMHO is much better than QF (even down the back of the bus, excluding perhaps the meal), and you can use SQ to SIN. Alas with this option, you're going to start at Velocity Red, and have to work your way up, which would suck.

Already with Aegean but just the basic, how would you do a S/ match?
