Do I earn Qantas status credits on my MH Econ Flex ticket?

Hi All,

I am flying Malaysia Airlines MEL-KUL return in February. I purchased economy flex for both ways and input my QFF number. My ticket reads:

MEL-KUL
Class Fare : O
Fare Basis: OGSFLRAU/EN

KUL-MEL
Class Fare : O
Fare Basis: SFL1YAU/EN

According to the fare table in Qantas website Link. Class O doesnt seem to earn status credits. Am I thinking wrongly?

I was looking at flights to KUL and noticed this nasty quirk the other week.

This is one of the booking classes (like some on CX) that doesn't earn points or SCs. Probably best to credit the points to another program (use FQTV to credit points to that program, while using FQTS to use status benefits from your preferred program).

Class O doesnt seem to earn status credits

If it is not in the fare class table, it wont earn any SC regardless of any ticket description such as "flex"
MH does not earn much on the MY-AU sectors. For example Z which is actually MH business class ticket earns at flexible economy level.

Fare claases on MH don't map to fare families that way they do for other airlines. Basically, O can be used for any of the families (eg. basic or flex).

IIRC it's the FL part in the fare basis that signifies Flex.

If 'O' is not in the table, it won't earn on QF.
