Do award tickets count as eligible flights?

Hello all,

Does an award flight count as one of the four eligible flights required to maintain status? I am heading overseas in a couple of weeks flying out on an award ticket. I wont be back until after my status is due to expire. If award flights are eligible, i will be ok. If not, well i might have to jump on a cheap QF flight somewhere.

Are you a Points Club or Points Club Plus member? If so, they do count. Otherwise no they don't.

As a Points Club member they do count and earn SCs.
