Dnata strikes 12th September

The article mentions Emirates and Etihad baggage handling potentially affected but no mention of Qatar :(

I’ve read that QF don’t use Dnata for domestic flights is that correct? So domestic flights shouldn’t be effected?

Kind of looks like SQ have cancelled flights (to Singapore at least) on the 12th 13th and 14th, from SYD, ADL, BNE and MEL. At least I can't see the option to purchase any revenue fares on those flights and I spot checked a few on Expert Flyer and showing zero availability for all classes.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Mrs sudoer will be on the first QF SYD-HND departure on 12 Sep - other than packing an extra change of clothes in case of delayed baggage, and arriving at the airport very early, does anyone have other tips?

Her plan is to use all-day check-in and work from the F Lounge, but I'm wondering if a very early check-in would increase the risk of lost baggage. She's overseas for 6 weeks so HLO isn't an option.

So to confirm, domestic flights shouldn't be impacted from this as Dnata only manage international flights for QF?

Airport ground crews abandon strikes following pay agreement

By Amelia McGuire

Ground handling workers at Emirates-owned company Dnata have called off a protected strike action that would have disrupted three major airports after securing a pay increase and overtime entitlements.
After more than two years of negotiation, Dnata agreed to deliver a 17 per cent pay increase to all employees over a four-year period, protect overtime entitlements as well as increase opportunities for part-time employees to convert to full-time roles and casuals to permanent positions.
