Yep, still have booking at Gauchos. I told the Maitre De we would be hungry after a long day up in the air & told him our full itinerary from BNE. He's looking forward to meeting us!

I bumped into another flyer on my AKL BNE flight yesterday, visiting from UK, & he may also join us after a family wedding in SA. ADLx3.

So there is an AFF meet up at Gauchos tonight hey... Enjoy the food, I love the place...

I get this error almost everytime I try to use web checkin. My solution is to shut down the window and try again.

Some of these error messages are really frustrating and make no sense but that is internet programming for you. Extremely inconsistent and no piece of code behaves the same way twice in a row....

Although I only did one leg I greatly enjoyed myself and meeting several AFFers who I haven't met before.

After you departed the DJ CBR lounge Petej and myself returned to the QF CBR J lounge where we were greeted with a welcome back by the staff who had seen us that morning.

Ahhhh, I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets this problem.

Only way for me to fix it so far is to clear my cookies on Windows or use some sort of private browsing window.

I don't get the same problem on Mac.

Just to finish off a great day, Lisa and I are currently enjoying the Hilton SP Exec. Lounge.

FWIW, schoolies looks like a lot of fun down on the beach, perhaps I should go and join in (get arrested ).........now a bit of hair dye for those odd grey strands and nobody will peg me as a toolie!

To all the wonderful AFF members I met today, along with those that I've met before, I'd just like to thank you for a really fun day! None of my "normal" friends can understand why we'd fly a quarter of the country in a day, just for a p*ss up........but hey, I can't tell them all our secrets, otherwise everyone would do it .

To Virgin, thanks for all the benefits you've been showering on us of late, please let our enthusiasm be the impetus for more. :mrgreen:

Lastly, a big thanks to the the DJ staff and contractors........yes, contractors! The SYD bunch were outstanding! A special, table delivered, order of hot slightly curried chicken wings, quiche and pepper steak gourmet party pies (at least that's what they tasted like to me ) plus a table delivered drinks order (sorry, didn't catch the gentlemans name...) and the guy DJ really need to make an ambassador, william!
