So JQ check in last night at HKT was 'interesting'.
There were lots of signs saying it was required and staff started walking the line to check pax had completed it.
I was second on the business class line and the person in front of me had done theirs as had I so I didn't really care.
Check in was slow with staff not sure of what to look for or how to read it.
Got through eventually.
On arrival in Melbourne this morning was asked to show my DPD screen shots. Because they didn't explicitly show my vaccination history I then had to show the paper certificate. Surely Home Affairs would realise that for the DPD to be issued I had to upload these details?
Having the DPD process just makes it harder to travel and I will seriously consider if overseas travel is worth it until COVID is over.
Too many confusing processes and officials who don't know what they're doing can really stuff up a trip.
