Well much to everyone's surprise a box turned up on Monday. Imagine the surprise though when it was opened to find that instead of containing my gear it contained some DVD's (I will leave it to your imagination what sort of DVD's).

From what we can figure out my parcel arrived in Sydney and DHL subcontracted it's delivery to eParcel (an arm of Australia Post). eParcel then put their own consignment label over the top of the DHL label and delivered it. Unfortunately eParcel put my consignment label onto a box of DVD's for someone in Darwin - and we are now guessing that some bloke in Darwin is staring at my equipment going WTF!

Aaaaaaaaaaaagh!

DHL subcontracting to eParcel now? Was your box addressed to a PO Box, or residential address?

Has always been a pita when people DHL (for example) something to my PO Box and I get the inevitable call "Please give us an alternative delivery address please".

Good luck getting this sorted out.

saw this recently with a delivery of runners from shoebuy.comalthough they put the sticker on the right box.

good luck in sorting it out as everybody finger points at everyone else.

I would suggest bypassing the DHL system. Whitepages.com.au let your fingers do the walking, call the guy in Darwin direct and sort something out. An exchange of hostages, so to speak.
