DFW to introduce Immigration Kiosks for AUS citizens from June 1

DFW has been upgrading its customs and immigration processing facilities and from June 1, Australian citizens will be able to use automated kiosks involving passport swipes and a biometric reading of fingerprints"

Apologies if this was already posted, but I consider this a significant piece of news for traveling to the USA.

Great move. Finally recognition for the rights we have given US e-passport holders.
 
Have just passed through DFW and can confirm that the kiosks can be used for Australian e-passports.

They take a photo and finger prints, and also ask the same questions as on the paper form. The staff on the ground may refer to them as ETSA kiosks rather than e - gates.

Certainly made the process much smoother. .
