I have a 5 hour wait in DFW in June, arriving from SYD on QF7 at ~2pm and then heading to MCO on AA at ~7pm. I do not have access to any lounges, but understand you can pay for casual entry to these two lounges (are there any others)?

My research tells me that The Club @ DFW is $35 for a casual entry and AA Admirals is $50 for casual entry.

Is there any great difference between the two? All I need is a shower, a comfy seat, free wifi and some drinks/snacks. Which would you choose?

Thanks in advance!

If you go to the prioritypass website and do a search for lounges at DFW you will see some photos of the club lounge. (You don't have to be a member to view the photos.)

I have only been in the Terminal B Admirals Club and it was quite small but very pleasant. There are three other terminals and three other Admirals Clubs there.

I think $35 is pretty reasonable for a few hours there. My only thought would be whether you might want to spend some time in the terminal. Five hours without food will seem like a fairly long time - there are snacks in the lounge but they wont be up to much...
