I can exist very well without a resident house spider.
Not here then, I refuse to kill them, catch and put outside.

I looked at the pull down beds and they were horrendously expensiveSmall storage update. Last bedroom is more my hobbies/spare room so I need storage instead of standard wardrobe so had Ikea Pax installed to house booze bottles, sewing machines, craft stuff ect. Used airtasker for installer and we now have dealt with every single box from the move. Also got rid of the two bedside tables (to nephew).

Will be looking into either a wall bed with a desk like this or if we have guests coming, buy a bed frame and mattress as guests will be pretty rare. Only problem with wall bed is Queen seems to be the standard and I prefer king or 2 singles because when we travel, I hate queen beds so dont want to give that to OS guests.

Friend had a very smart one installed at a cost of around $14k! Shocked me. They went overseas, paddling around the Greek Islands, and whilst away a sewer pipe backed up and emptied into their apartment. They had only done a make-over of the apartment 6 months earlier and everything in the apartment within 6" (150mm) of floor was ruined, including the slept-in once wall bed. Insurance covered the cost but it was months getting it made good and getting the strata body to install a gully in the waste on the ground floor. Even the new and expensive curtains were ruined.I looked at the pull down beds and they were horrendously expensive
My dear departed MIL loved a good moan - would ask how you were just so she then had an opening to tell you just how she was. Which was of course ever so much worse than you. My other sister in law said - you better have a vasectomy, that'd be about he only thing she couldn't topSlightly different but I once worked with a woman who would invariably steer every conversation around to her and how she was sicker, had a harder time with her relatives, had more experience about anything etc. Very tedious.

Like a mullet? Party on the outside but nothing inside.90 day inspection today and Im incredibly sad that inspector picked a huge issue up that I completely missed! Such a huge wasted opportunity to play with our builder but.... we're missing a highlight window
Well, we have the double glazed window, the window is installed, we just cant see the window from the inside. We had to go outside to confirm its there and theres no window in the laundry.
Considering I picked up power or data points in the wrong place or extra pantry work not done initially.... how did I miss a window?
I would have loved to have been the one to put it on our warranty list and imagined the warranty managers face when he read, "missing highlight window" but I didnt realise it was missing at all. The laundry is used only during the day, to use solar power, and the rear door is clear glass so has lots of natural light so we never missed it being cut out
I think he was surprised that all we could do was laugh and laugh about it. I mean, what else can we do about it?

Yes. Has to be rectified and I've left a message with the inspecting company I used, to ask what the heckIf its a scheduled inspection, doesn't that mean that things found have to be rectified?

The fact we've been living in the house for 3mths and not notice though is on us .
Jus' goin' off the drawin'sI want to know how they just plastered over a window without thinking it was odd
Spoke to inspecting company today who basically said it wasnt our responsibility. We had 6 inspections. Inspection 1 inc windows installed and inspection 2 was pre lining and window was installed. Apparently after that, theyre not looking at walls to go yep, that window is there as technically the window is there.. just cant see it from the insideThere was a house planned, and eventually built in my neighbourhood that was woefully designed and so obviously non compliant that it raised many objections. It eventually got approved. It was sold upon completion so I had a sticky beak. Imagine council's surprise when I pointed out that there were three extra windows over what was approved, and two rooms were actually combined into one. So your inspector shouldn't feel too bad.
They seemed to have missed the point that it is their sole reason for existence to make sure they can do it better than you. Otherwise you wouldn't need them.Inspection company said, "Considering you didnt notice it was missing and lived there for 3 months, I dont see how you think we could do better"

Good thing we're still in good spirits over it happening - I mean it happened, no use getting angry about something that's going to be fixed.

Can you report the inspector to their professional body or registration board?
