I need to be in SAN in June next year, and thought I might get a bit creative rather than simply doing SYD>LAX>SAN return on QF. I was also looking into doing this via DFW instead of LAX, and both the QF website and ITA MAtrix both seem to fall over on this.

So am looking into a oneworld Circle Pacific fare

SYD>HKG>NRT>SAN>DFW>SYD, will obviously look into ticketing this from Hong Kong or even starting the journey from there. But using ITA the SAN>DFW leg seems to only allow returns via LAX again, or as a UA flight!

Has there been changes to codeshare flights in the US that may affect the SAN>DFW>SYD leg?

ITA and the QF site can't price circle pacific fares. PM me what you are after (dates/flights) and I'll price it for you in the GDS.

Wow nearly a year later, but the situation is similar for Jan'18 rather than Jun'17.

Just following this post up for a big thumbs up to @madrooster for not only sorting out an awesome ticketing combo, but for putting up with my flip-flopping style of decision making !

Expertflyer does price them along with the xONEx and xGLOBx.

AKL is least expensive for LCIR22
KUL is least expensive for DCIR22

Assuming taxes are the same from all points of origin.....

AA was happy to issue exKUL at KUL prices about 7 months ago

Happy wandering
