Starts today, 07 October. Reminded by clock on my iPad.

I think AFF is yet to adjust to Daylight Saving based on the time stamp on my posts:p

I love it here in Tassie but would dislike it home in QLD.
In Tassie the best time to be outdoors is late afternoon,in QLD early morning.

I think early mornings in Perth are great. Beaches are great, the golf is about as good as I can make it! The Freo Dr kills the beaches in the afternoon.

Won't someone think of the curtains!

The mad peanut farmer from Kingaroy has been gone for sometime. He was about the only one who thought about the curtains or cows or chooks.

Despise early mornings, so miss DS in Perth, able to knock off and have about 3-4 hours of daylight after work for golf, tennis or the beaches... The beaches are ok, but you preferably want to go down on the pretty hot afternoons of 35+ days so its not to cool down on the beaches when the breeze is in...

I needed to change the settings on my phone to tell it I lived in Brisbane. Auto settings pick up DS

Today is a horrid work day- so tired due to the one hour mini-jetlag. Then again- it's a small price to pay in my eyes for those wonderful long summer evenings coming up!

Try going through it twice in a week. We were in NZ last weekend when it changed there so came home to a three hour time difference then went through the change again a day later so it's only two hours early I wake up now.

First world problem I know...

Wonderful long summer days is what I miss most about Europe since moving Down Under, I love going back to Europe in summer and have light till 10 or 11pm

Those long European summer days are good, why each year I'm more than happy to leave Australia in Winter and go up and summer in the northern hemisphere for a month or so...

Oh yes- that's indeed one of the few things that I really miss down here. Sitting outside with some good friends till late with a beverage or two just out in public ... Loving it!
