David Jones Voucher via online mall purchase won't work

Hi All Just a quick question I have been trying to buy a $200 voucher via the online mall to take advantage of the 10 x points offer and then also get the $40 back offer on Amex. Have not been able to get the transaction through. Qantas tell me that you cannot buy vouchers via the online mall, I thought I had done that before but maybe I am wrong, anyone know ?
